Selling a Luxury Condo in Boca Raton? What to do Before Putting Your Unit on the Market

Boca Raton is filled with high-end real estate, with upscale residences and waterfront properties. To make your home stand out from the rest, there are a few things you can do before putting your luxury condo on the market.
Unlike many single-family homes, condos in Boca Raton hold the distinct advantage of low-maintenance and added amenities to drive up interest. Still, you’ll need to put in a little work to get the best return on your investment.
De-clutter your condo
One easy thing to do to make your condo ready for the market is to start de-cluttering the unit. You can pay someone to come in and do the work for you, including moving out some of your furnishings and staging your home.
You can also do some of the work yourself. To create more space, box up things you don’t necessarily need right now. You can temporary store the items somewhere else if you’re not ready to part with them. A de-cluttered condo not only makes the space appear larger but also gives prospective residents a better idea of what the unit will look like without a lot of your personal possessions inside.
Make repairs
This is also a great time to make any last minute repairs, if necessary. If you have a door or drawer that’s always sticking, now is the time to fix it. You may even want to spruce up your condo with a new coat or paint, or simply bring in a crew to give your home a deep clean before prospective buyers come inside for the first time.
If your condo is in need of any major repairs covered by the property owner, make sure those repairs are noted and taken care of as soon as possible. If you need to hire a contractor for the work, make sure you ask around for recommendations and for bids.
Take inventory
You’ll also want to start coming up with a list of some of the things that make your condo so appealing. Whether you’ve recently purchased high-end appliances or customized your home, it’s likely you’ll come with a number of things that can help drive up interest and possibly even the sales price of your condo.
Know the market
